This fruit compote has no added sugar. It is super easy to make and is a great addition to yogurt or oatmeal to get your daily fruit.
– 3 Cups of fresh or frozen fruit (I use frozen berries)
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 3 Tbsp citrus juice (lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit)
-In a medium saucepan, over medium-high heat bring all ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and boil 10-15 minutes, stirring and muddling fruit with a wooden spoon occasionally until liquid is reduced and thickened.
